I imagine that since you've been using your computer, you've had the hassle of miscellaneous problems related to your windows system. Regrettably, the majority of users don't realize the truth that in most cases there is a single origin of all these problems - the windows registry. If they don't realize what the problem is, a lot of pc users dip into their wallets and spend too much time on superfluous repairs that may not even do the job.

To begin with, one thing that is absolutely essential when your computer encounters javaw exe errors is to determine whether or not your registry is 'contaminated'. This part of your system is responsible for all your actions with respect to sw and hw adding, upgrading, removing programs and devices, etc. This part of your windows 'registers,' to mention one of its roles, the 'address' of the many executables that your pc contains. The result of a 'broken' registry can be, to name one potential problem, a situation where windows can't find the path to that exe file and consequently you end up with annoying pop-up errors.

Well, now that you are aware of the causes of javaw exe errors you should act quickly to find a remedy and stop this annoying trouble. Trying to fix your registry all alone is quite complicated and risky, so there are two options: call an expensive repair service or download a program to clean and fix your registry. A well designed registry cleaning and repairing software made by a reputable developer can easily and automatically take care of your pc's problems. I would highly recommend you to install one of these useful programs and perform a free scan; i am confident you will find that you can take care of these errors and other pc troubles all by yourself in just a few moments - pretty amazing!

I keep seeing an outbound connection from this javaw.exe from my computer?
even when I’m not on the computer ( I have DSL that I leave on when I’m at work so that I get my AV updates)

Why would javaw.exe be going out on the internet on its own? I know it has to do with java

      Your Sun Micro Java may be configured to do ‘Auto Update’;
Open the Java Control Panel> Update tab> see if the box for Auto update is checked…

Why does javaw.exe take up 99% of my resources when i try to use sitebuilder?!?
I can open sitebuilder, and open pages, doing almost anything else results in my computer bogging down to almost stopping. I checked my processes and javaw.exe is the issue.

    P4 2.8GHz
    760 MB of RAM
    Nvidia fx5500 256 gfx card

I can run pretty much anything else.

Someone tell me what’s going on, and why i can’t just talk to a yahoo tech?
Well i can run Maya and 3ds max with no problem…this should be cake…i can’t even add a picture to empty page. this is not a resource issue

javaw.exe is taking up 50% CPU usage!!?
I’m trying to do some Android Dev work in Eclipse but every time I go to edit a file javaw.exe shoots up to using 50% of my CPU Usage. Anyone know what’s the problem here? I’ve tried the simple possible solutions such as killing certain processes and even doing a full restart of my laptop. Still getting the issue though.

Question about “bundled JRE” or “javaw.exe” error message?
Ok so I’m quite a no0b, I know… I’m trying to open this file I saved at work on a program called StoryBuilder on my home computer. I’m getting an error message that says “Cannot find bundled JRE or javaw.exe is missing.”

I have NO idea what this means. Is there some decoder or something I need to basically translate this file? Thanks for ANY advice.
Any links to a site where I can download those programs listed below? Or do they have to be purchased?

What you need to have is JDK and the JRE installed on your computer at home, this is why you can’t run the program that you got from work at home. JDK = JavaDevelopmentKit. JRE = JavaRuntimeEnvironment, and of course .exe = Executable file. Note you may also need to have an IDE like Eclipse or TextPad so that you have a complete App.

    How do I remove JavaW.exe?
Well apparently, I’m not very smart…
I’m trying to uninstall JavaW.exe completely off my hard drive..
What’s it’s doing at this moment is it’s completely appearing on my Windows Task Manager every 5 minutes. Every time I End it’s Process of running, a few minutes later, several… It pops up again!
I’ve tried several deletions, always a failure. Because no matter how many times I delete it, it still appears in my Java folder and on my Windows Task Manager..
What it does is it takes too much space of my computer, which literally slows down my computer.
How do I know this? Well an example is when I play an RPG, it lags a lot, a little, not too much, I press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, go to Windows Task Manager, see JavaW.exe in process, end it. Then makes my game playing so much faster.

Only thing I’m trying to get to is, how do I remove JavaW.exe permanently? So that way I can have so much space without no lag interruptions during my game play…

If anyone knows anything about this, knows any solutions, please answer this!
    -Thank you.

JavaW.exe is a Windows plug-in for Java. It is used by a lot of other programs (and the source indicates it is an important Java security process). You may be better off quashing it while you are playing and letting it live the rest of the time.
